Numbers 24:9
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨਿਮ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਪਏ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ। ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਜਵਾਨ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਉਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਮਿਲੇ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਰਾਪੇ ਜਾਣ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪਣ।”

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਅਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲੇਟਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਇੰਨਾ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਕਰੇ।

ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਾਉਣ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ। ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਝੁਕਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਣਗੇ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਸਰਾਪਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਅਸੀਸਮਈ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”

ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 2:12
ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਹੋ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਉਹ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਵਡਭਾਗੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ।
ਅੱਯੂਬ 41:10
ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾ ਸੱਕੇ ਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਸੱਕੇ। ਅੱਛਾ, ਕੀ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ!

“ਅੱਯੂਬ, ਕੀ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਭੋਜਨ ਤੂੰ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਕੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੁੱਖਿਆਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਖੁਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
