Nehemiah 11:1
ਨਵੇਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ’ਚ ਆਉਣਾ ਹੁਣ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਦਸਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੁਣੇ ਪਾਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਚੁਣਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੇ 9 ਲੋਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਯਸਈਆਹ 52:1
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਬਚ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਾਗੋ! ਜਾਗੋ ਸੀਯੋਨ! ਆਪਣੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਪਹਿਨ! ਆਪਣੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਫ਼ੜ! ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਠ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਦਾਖਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨੀ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।

“ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ, ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਕੜ ਦੀ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਗੁਣੇ ਪਾਏ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਲ, ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਮੇਂ ਉੱਤੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਬਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਉਹ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਗਏ, ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਪੂਨਰ-ਉਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ, ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੇ।

ਫੇਰ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਬੜੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ,

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਯਹੂਦਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇੋਂ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਸੀ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਵਿਖਾ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੀ ਰਸੂਲ ਵਾਲੀ ਜਗ਼੍ਹਾ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।”
ਅਮਸਾਲ 16:33
ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲੋਕ ਗੁਣੇ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਤਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਲੋਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਉੱਥੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਖਤ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਖਤ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਨਹਮਿਆਹ 7:4
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਹੁਣ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਖੁੱਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜਾ ਸੀ। ਸਗੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵੀ ਅਜੇ ਤੀਕ ਮੁੜ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣੇ ਸਨ।
੧ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 26:13
ਹਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਗੁਣੇ ਪਾਕੇ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਬੁੱਢਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਵਰਤਾਵਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 20:9
ਹੁਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਗਿਬਆਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ: ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਚੀਆਂ ਪਾਵਾਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 18:10
ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਰਦਾ ਸੁੱਟੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 17:8
ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ “ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦਾ ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਹ ਕਤਲ, ਕੋਈ ਲੜਾਈ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ, ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਦੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਦਲੀਲਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਠਣ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ, ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚੁਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਜਗ਼੍ਹਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
