Matthew 23:16
“ਹੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਰਾਹ ਨੁਮਾਓ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੇ ਲਾਹਨਤ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ, ‘ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਵੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਅਰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸੌਂਹ ਬੱਧ ਹੈ।’

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਆਗੂ ਹੋ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਮਛਰ-ਮਖੀ ਤਾਂ ਪੁਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਊਠ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਤੋੜੋ। ਜੋ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਆਪਣੇ ਕਥਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਾਵੱਧਾਨ ਰਹੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣੋ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਸੌਂਹ ਨਾ ਖਾਓ। ਸਵਰਗ, ਧਰਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਸਦੀਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਾ ਵਰਤੋ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਭਾਵ “ਹਾਂ” ਹੋਵੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ “ਹਾਂ” ਆਖਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਭਾਵ “ਨਾਹ” ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ “ਨਾਹ” ਆਖੋ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 9:39
ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਜਗਤ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ।”

ਹੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਓ! ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਟੋਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਥਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਫ਼ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਕੁਝ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 56:10
ਸਾਰੇ ਨਬੀ ਹੀ ਨੇਤਰਹੀਣ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਕੁਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭੌਁਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਲੇਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੌਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਸੌਂ ਜਾਣਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ।
