ਜਦੋਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਰਕਿਲਊਸ ਯਹੂਦਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਪਾਕੇ ਉਹ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਤੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼, ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੂੰ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਵਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਘਬਰਾ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਉਸਦੀ ਕੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 48:17

ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 19:17
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਗਏ, ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੁਣ ਭੱਜੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਬਚਾਓ। ਪਿੱਛੇ ਮੁੜਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੁਕਣਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਤਾਈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ, ਭੱਜਦੇ ਰਹੋ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੁਕ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ!”
