ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੰਜੇ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਫ਼ੜਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਠਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਬੁਖਾਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਕੁਝ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਮਗਦਲੀਨੀ ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਔਰਤ ਵੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਤ ਭੂਤ ਚਿੰਬੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਸੀ।
