Luke 9:32
ਪਰ ਪਤਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਸੁੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਜਾਗੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵੇਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਦੋ ਹੋਰ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ।

ਉਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਥਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
੧ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 3:2
ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਹਾਂ। ਹਾਲੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਭੱਵਿਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ, ਪਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਓਸੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਖਾਂਗੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦੇਖੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ, ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਕੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਖੁਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 17:24
“ਪਿਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕਣ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਜੱਗਤ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ, ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਤਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੜਾ ਥਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਤਿਆਂ ਪਾਇਆ। ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਘੜੀ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਗ ਸੱਕਦੇ?

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਸਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਨੀਂਦੇ ਸੌਂ ਗਿਆ। ਮੇਰਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾ ਪਿਆ।

“ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਚੰਨ ਦੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰਾਤ ਦੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 60:1
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ “ਹੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਮੇਰੇ ਨੂਰ, ਉੱਠ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨੂਰ (ਯਹੋਵਾਹ) ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਮਕੇਗਾ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 33:18
ਤਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੁਣ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਦਰਸਾਉ।”
