Luke 21:37
ਹਰ ਦਿਨ ਯਿਸੂ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਉਹ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਤੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਰਾਤ ਵਤੀਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਅਕਸਰ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਗਏ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਤਾਇਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ।”

ਇਹ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟਣ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਬੈਤਅਨੀਆ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ, ਬੈਤਫ਼ਗਾ ਕੋਲ, ਰੁਕੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ।

ਨਵੇਂ ਰਸੂਲ ਦਾ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਤਦ ਰਸੂਲ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਗਏ ਇਹ ਪਹਾੜ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ-ਅੱਧ ਮੀਲ ਦੀ ਵਾਟ ਤੇ ਹੈ।
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 12:1
ਯਿਸੂ ਬੈਤਆਨਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਛੇ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਬੈਤਆਨਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਇਆ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਲਾਜ਼ਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਲਾਜ਼ਰ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਵਾਲਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਉਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੀ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਦੀ ਉਤਰਾਈ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ। ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਭੀੜ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਵੇਖੇ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਅੰਜੀਰ ਦਾ ਰੁੱਖ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਬੈਤਅਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਖ ਲੱਗੀ ਸੀ।

ਉਸ ਵਕਤ, ਉਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਪਹਾੜੀ, ਜੈਤੂਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰੋ ਪਾਟ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਗ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਖਿਸੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਓੱਥੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਛਮ ਤੱਕ ਦੋ ਹਿਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
