ਤਲਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਵਿਆਹ “ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਬਦਕਾਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਜੋ ਤਲਾਕ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਬਦਕਾਰ ਹੈ।”

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਤਲਾਕ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ “ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ‘ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕਨਾਮਾ ਲਿਖਕੇ ਦੇਵੇ।’
ਮਰਕੁਸ 10:11
ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਸਰੀ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬਦਕਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇੱਕ ਪਤਨੀ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਇਖਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜਦਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਇਖਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ, ਇੱਕ ਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਇਖਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਦਕਿ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਖਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ।

ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਵਿਆਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸੇ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।
