Luke 15:2
ਤਦ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ, “ਵੇਖੋ! ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਪੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ।”

ਇਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਤਰਸ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅੰਤਾਕਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕੁਝ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਲੋਕ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਏ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਣਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
