ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਤੋਂੜਦੇ ਹਨ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਬਰਾਨੀ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਿਲਿਆ।

ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਤੋਂੜਦੇ ਹਨ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਬਰਾਨੀ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
