Genesis 29:13
ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਦੌੜਿਆ। ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਫ਼ੀ ਪਾ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਚੁੰਮਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਸਭ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਭਰਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਸੀ। ਰਿਬਕਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਾਜ਼ੂਬੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਵੇਖੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਆਖਿਆ, ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਖੂਹ ਵੱਲ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ। ਉੱਥੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਖੂਹ ਕੋਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਊਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗ ਕੇ ਰੋਇਆ। ਇਸਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਭਰਾ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ।

ਮੂਸਾ ਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, “ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਹ ਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੌਹਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਇਆ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮਿਆ। ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਸਾਰ ਪੁੱਛੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ।
