ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਅਦੋਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੂਮਾਹ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼। ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੇਈਰ (ਅਦੋਮ) ਤੋਂ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ, ਕਿੰਨੀ ਕੁ ਰਾਤ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ? ਰਾਤ ਪੈਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਕੁ ਦੇਰ ਹੈ।”

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਿਕ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਅੰਦਰ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਭਾੜੇ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸਮਾਂ ਗਿਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੇਦਰ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
