Deuteronomy 18:4
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਅਰਪਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨਾਜ, ਆਪਣੀ ਮੈਅ, ਆਪਣੇ ਤੇਲ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਹੀ ਉੱਨ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਅਹਬਾਰ 23:10
“ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ; ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਵੱਢੋਂਗੇ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਭਰੀ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 23:17
ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਹਿਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਵੋ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 16 ਕੱਪ ਮੈਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਮੀਰ ਪਾਕੇ ਬਣਾਉ। ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਢੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦੇਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦੇਣ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਦਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀਆ ਵੀ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਲੋਕੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਫ਼ਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸੁਝਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਿਸਿਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਮੱਗ੍ਰੀ ਗੋਦਾਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਭਾਲੀ। ਯਹੂਦੀ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਿਂਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਤੇ ਬੜੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸਨ।
ਅੱਯੂਬ 21:20
ਗੁਨਾਹਗਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਦ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਖਣ ਦਿਉ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਉ।
