ਫ਼ਿਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਊਰਿੱਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਕੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ। ਊਰਿੱਯਾਹ ਨੇ, ਰਾਜੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਊਰਿੱਯਾਹ ਲਈ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੋਏ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਤ ਮਹਿਲ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਲੋਕਾ 12:2
ਅਜਿਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਚੀਜ਼ ਛੁਪੀ ਹੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਜਾਹਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਗੁਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ? ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਧੋਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਧੋਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਕਾਇਆ।

ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਛੁਪਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਵੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੱਲੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੌਣ ਹਾਂ।”

ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 43:24
ਨੌਕਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਧੋਤੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੋਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 19:2
ਲੂਤ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਾਨ, ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਆਓ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਓੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਧੋ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਠਹਿਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋਂ।” ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਨਹੀਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਚੌਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਾਂਗੇ।”
