2 Kings 9:35
ਫ਼ਿਰ ਕੁਝ ਆਦਮੀ ਈਜ਼ਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਉਣ ਗਏ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਲੱਭੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਸਦੀ ਖੋਪੜੀ, ਪੈਰ ਤੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਲੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਲੱਭੀਆਂ।

ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਬਰ ਹੈ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 22:19
ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੋਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਧੂਹ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਦਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਜੋ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਉਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਤਖਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੈਠਣਗੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਮਰੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸਸੱਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਗਰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਦੀ ਕੋਹਰੇ ਭਰੀ ਸਰਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
