ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਹਨ ਇਵੇਂ ਲੈ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਗੁਲੇਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਰੋੜਾ।

ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 17:21
ਪਿਤਾ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰੱਖਣ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਜੁਟ ਹੋਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ। ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈਂ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ। ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 15:1
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ, ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੋਇਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਬਰਾਮ, ਡਰੀਂ ਨਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।”
