1 Samuel 23:9
ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਉਹ ਏਫ਼ੋਦ ਲੈ ਆ।”

ਜੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਪਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਊਰੀਮ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਜਾਣੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਆਖੇ, ‘ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੋ’, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਆਖੇ ‘ਘਰ ਜਾਉ’ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।”

ਪਰ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਣਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਾਜਿਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ। ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸੈਨਾ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

“ਯਹੂਦਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਭੇਤ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣੀਆਂ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 11:18
ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਬਦ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਰਸਾਈਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਨ।

ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਸੀ ਬਚ ਗਿਆ। ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਅਹੀਟੂਬ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਭੱਜਕੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
