Psalm 35
1 ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਲੜੋ।
2 ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੀ ਢਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਵੋ। ਉੱਠੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੋ।
3 ਆਪਣਾ ਨੇਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਛਾ ਚੁੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜੋ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੀ ਰੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਵਾਂਗਾ।”
4 ਉਹ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋਣ। ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹਾਰ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋਣ।
5 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਤੂੜੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਉ। ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹਵਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉੱਡ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਉ।
6 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਨੇਰਮਈ ਅਤੇ ਤਿਲਕਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਉ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਉ।
7 ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਗਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਰਣ ਹੀ ਫ਼ਸਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ।
8 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਸਣ ਦਿਉ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਜਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਦਿਉ। ਕੋਈ ਅਣਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਖਤਰਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਵੇ।
9 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
10 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਹਸਤੀ ਆਖੇਗੀ; “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਡਾਢੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਡਾਢਿਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਖੋਹ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗਰੀਬ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ।”
11 ਗਵਾਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਟੋਲੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਉਂਤਾਂ ਘੜ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਐਸੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਣਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਜਵਾਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ।
12 ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਿਉ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ ਹਾਂ।
13 ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਸਨ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਭੋਜਨ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ। ਕੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹੀ ਸਿਲਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ?
14 ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਗਮੀ ਦੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਪਹਿਨੇ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਦਾਸ ਸਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਚੀਕਦਾ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਮਰ ਗਈ ਹੋਵੇ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਲੇ ਵਸਤਰ ਪਹਿਨੇ। ਮੈਂ ਗਮ ਨਾਲ ਨੀਵੀਂ ਪਾਕੇ ਤੁਰਦਾ।
15 ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਗਲਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਸੇ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਦੋਸਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ, ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
16 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੰਦ ਕਰੀਚਦਿਆਂ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਸਨ।
17 ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਚਿਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ? ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੋ। ਮੇਰੀ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਬਚਾਉ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ।
18 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।
19 ਮੇਰੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਹੱਸਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਣਗੇ। ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਵਿਉਂਤਾ ਦਾ ਦੰਡ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।
20 ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਅਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਉਂਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ। ਉਹ ਖੁਫ਼ੀਆਂ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਅਮਨ ਪਸੰਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਦੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
21 ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਆਹਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।”
22 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲਾਜਮੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਕਿ ਕੀ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਰਹੋ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਨਾ ਜਾਉ।
23 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਜਾਗੋ। ਉੱਠੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਲੜੋ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ।
24 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿਰਪੱਖਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੋ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਸਣ ਨਾ ਦਿਉ।
25 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਆਖਣ ਦਿਉ, “ਆਹਾ। ਅਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਆਖਣ ਦਿਉ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।”
26 ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਣ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕੋ।
27 ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨ। ਮੈਂ ਆਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਸਦਾ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।”
28 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਚੰਗਿਆਈ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
1 A Psalm of David.
2 Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
3 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
4 Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
5 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
6 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them.
7 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them.
8 For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.
9 Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
10 And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
11 All my bones shall say, Lord, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
12 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
13 They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
14 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
15 I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.
16 But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
17 With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
18 Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
19 I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.
20 Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
21 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
22 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
23 This thou hast seen, O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
24 Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
25 Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
26 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
27 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
28 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
29 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

1 ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବନ୍ଦୀ ହାଇେଥିବା ପାଉଲ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ତୀମଥିଙ୍କଠାରୁ
Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,
2 ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରିୟ ମିତ୍ର ଓ ସହକର୍ମୀ ଫିଲୀମାନେ, ଆମ୍ଭର ଭଉଣୀ ଆପ୍ପିଯା, ସାଥି ସୈନିକ ଆଖିପ୍ପ, ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଘରଠା ରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହେଉଥିବା ଉପାସନା ମଣ୍ଡଳୀକୁ ପତ୍ର ଲେଖୁଛୁ।
And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
3 ଆମ୍ଭର ପରମପିତା ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଓ ଶାନ୍ତି ମିଳୁ।
Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 ମାେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରେ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ସର୍ବଦା ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଦିଏ।
I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,
5 ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ପବିତ୍ ରେଲାକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ ରମେ ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ବାସ ବିଷୟ ରେ ମୁଁ ଶୁଣିଛି ଓ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସହେି ପ୍ ରମେ ଓ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଜଣାଉଛି।
Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
6 ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଥିବା ଆମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ଭଲ କଥାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବୁଝିପାରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ବାସର ସହଭାଗିତା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରେ।
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
7 ହେ ଭାଇ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ ରମେଭାବ ଦଖାଇେଛ, ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଖୁସି କରିଛ। ଏହା ମାେତେ ବହୁତ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଓ ଆଶ୍ବାସନା ଦଲୋ।
For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
8 କେତଗେୁଡ଼ିଏ କଥା ତୁମ୍ଭର କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ରେ ଭାଇ ହିସାବ ରେ ସତ୍ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦବୋର ମାରେ ଅଧିକାର ଅଛି।
Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,
9 କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ ରମେ ରେ ନିବଦନେ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ। ମୁଁ ପାଉଲ, ବୁଢ଼ା ହାଇେ ଗଲିଣି ଓ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବନ୍ଦୀ ହାଇେଛି।
Yet for love’s sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
10 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନୀସିମ ପାଇଁ ନିବଦନେ କରୁଛି। ମୁଁ ବନ୍ଦୀ ଗୃହ ରେ ଥିଲା ବେଳେ ସେ ମାରେ ସନ୍ତାନ ହାଇେଥିଲା।
I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
11 ଅତୀତ ରେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଅଦରକାରୀ ଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ସେ ମାେ' ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୁହିଁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବଡ଼ ଉପଯୋଗୀ ଅଟେ।
Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:
12 ମୁଁ ତାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଖକୁ ଫରୋଇ ଦେଉଛି। ତା ସହିତ ମାରେ ହୃଦୟ ମଧ୍ଯ ବନ୍ଧା ହାଇେଛି।
Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:
13 ମୁଁ ବନ୍ଦୀ ଗୃହ ରେ ଥିବା ସମୟରେ ମାେତେ ସୁସମାଚାର ପାଇଁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବ ବୋଲି ତାହାକୁ ମାେ ସହିତ ରଖିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଥିଲି। ମାେତେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ଦ୍ବାରା ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସବୋ କରିଥାଆନ୍ତା।
Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
14 କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଥମେ ନ ପଚାରି ମୁଁ କିଛି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲି ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ଭଲ କାମ ନିଜ ଇଚ୍ଛା ରେ ହେଉ, ମାରେ ବାଧ୍ଯ ବାଧ୍ଯକତା ରେ ନ ହେଉ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ଚା ହେଁ।
But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
15 ଅନୀସିମ301 କ୍ଷଣିକ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଅଲଗା ଥିଲା। ଏହା ଏପରି ଘଟିଥାଇପା ରେ ୟଦ୍ଦ୍ବାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ସବୁଦିନ ପାଇଁ ପୁନଃ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହାଇପୋରିବ।
For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;
16 ଦାସ ହବୋ ପାଇଁ ନୁହେଁ, ବରଂ ଦାସଠାରୁ ବଳି ଏକ ପ୍ରିୟ ଭାଇ ଭଳି। ମୁଁ ତାହାକୁ ବହୁତ ଭଲ ପାଏ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆହୁରି ଅଧିକ ଭଲ ପାଇବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଜଣେ ମଣିଷ ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଜଣେ ଭାଇ ଭଳି ଭଲ ପାଇବ।
Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
17 ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ମିତ୍ର ବୋଲି ଗ୍ରହଣ କରୁଛ, ତା' ହେଲେ ଅନୀସିମଙ୍କୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଗ୍ରହଣ କର। ମାେତେ ଯେପରି ସ୍ବାଗତ କରିଥାନ୍ତ, ସପରେି ତାହାକୁ ସ୍ବାଗତ କର।
If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.
18 ଯଦି ଅନୀସିମ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି କିଛି ଭୁଲ କରିଛି ବା ତା'ର ତୁମକୁ କିଛି ଦବୋକୁ ଅଛି ତବେେ ତାହା ମାେ ଖାତା ରେ ପକାଇ ଦିଅ।
If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;
19 ମୁଁ ପାଉଲ, ଏହି କଥା ମାେ ହାତ ରେ ଲେଖୁଛି। ଅନୀସିମର ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କିଛି ଦବୋକୁ ଅଛି, ମୁଁ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଫରୋଇ ଦବେି। ନିଜ ଜୀବନ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ମାେ'ଠା ରେ କେତେ ଋଣୀ, ସେ ସମ୍ପର୍କ ରେ ମୁଁ କିଛି କହିବି ନାହିଁ।
I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
20 ତେଣୁ ହେ ମାରେ ଭାଇ ! ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ପାଇଁ କିଛି ଆବଶ୍ଯକୀୟ ବିଷୟ କର ବୋଲି, ମୁଁ କୁ ହେ। ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠା ରେ ମାେ ହୃଦୟକୁ ଆଶ୍ବାସନା ଦିଅ।
Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.
21 ମୁଁ ଯାହା କହିଛି, ସଗେୁଡିକ କରିବ ବୋଲି ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଏହି ଚିଠି ଲେଖୁଛି। ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ଯେ ମୁଁ ଯେତିକି କ ହେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା'ଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ କରିବ।
Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
22 ମାେ ରହିବା ପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ବଖରା ମଧ୍ଯ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର। ମୁଁ ଆଶା କରେ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣିବେ ଓ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଖକୁ ୟିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ହାଇେ ପାରିବି।
But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
23 ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏପାଫ୍ରା ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ମାରେ ସହବନ୍ଦୀ। ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନମସ୍କାର ଜଣାଉଛନ୍ତି।
There salute thee Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus;
24 ମାର୍କ, ଆରିସ୍ତାର୍ଖ, ଦୀମା ଓ ଲୂକ ଏମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନମସ୍କାର ଜଣାଉଛନ୍ତି।

25 ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଆତ୍ମା ସହିତ ରହିଥାଉ।
