Psalm 13 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 {To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} How long, Jehovah, wilt thou forget me for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਲਈ: ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਚਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਲੁਕੋਵੋਂਗੇ? ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਚਿਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ?

2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, with sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਚਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਚਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ ਹੋਂ? ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਚਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਰਾਂਗਾ? ਕਿੰਨੇ ਕੁ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਮੇਰਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਜਿੱਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ?

3 Consider, answer me, O Jehovah my God! lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the [sleep of] death;ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਵੋ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਵੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ।

4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him! [lest] mine adversaries be joyful when I am moved.ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਵਾਪਰੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਆਖੇਗਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।” ਜੇਕਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

5 As for me, I have confided in thy loving-kindness; my heart shall be joyful in thy salvation.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਸਥਾ ਰੱਖੀ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਬਖਸ਼ੀ।

6 I will sing unto Jehovah, for he hath dealt bountifully with me.ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
