Psalm 114 in Punjabi

1 ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਪਰਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

2 ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਲਤਨਤ ਬਣ ਗਈ।

3 ਲਾਲ ਸਾਗਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੌੜ ਗਿਆ। ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਮੁੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਨੱਸ ਪਈ।

4 ਪਰਬਤ ਭੇਡੂਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਨੱਚਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ, ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਲੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਨੱਚਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ।

5 ਹੇ ਲਾਲ ਸਾਗਰ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਨੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ? ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀਏ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੁੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਨੱਸੀ ਸੀ?

6 ਪਹਾੜੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭੇਡੂਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਕਿਉਂ ਨੱਚੇ ਸੀ? ਅਤੇ ਪਹਾੜੀਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਕਿਉਂ ਨੱਚੀਆਂ ਸੀ?

7 ਮਾਲਕ, ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਿੱਲ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

8 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਖਤ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਵਗਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਚਸ਼ਮਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ।

1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.

4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
