Romans 4:16
ਇਸ ਕਾਰਣ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਵਚਨ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵਚਨ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਫ਼ਤੀ ਦਾਤ ਹੋਵੇ। ਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਵਚਨ ਮੁਫ਼ਤੀ ਦਾਤ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਵਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਵਚਨ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਹੇਠ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਵਾਂਗ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਸਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਉਲਾਦਾਂ ਪਰੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰੇਮਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਦੇ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰੇਮਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਬੱਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੈਦੀ ਹਨ। ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਿਉਂ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ? ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਸੱਕੇ। ਇਹ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 15:8
ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਇਹ ਵਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਬਣਿਆ, ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਚਨ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਸੀਹ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਹ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਚਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਉਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

ਸੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਜੋ ਮਸੀਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ ਲੋਕ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ-ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ।”
੨ ਪਤਰਸ 1:10
ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣੋ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਠੋਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਦੇ ਡਿੱਗੋਂਗੇ।
ਇਬਰਾਨੀਆਂ 6:13
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉੱਥੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਡੇਰਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਨਾਂ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਹੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਤੀਤੁਸ 3:7
ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੀਏ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ।
ਅਫ਼ਸੀਆਂ 2:8
ਮੇਰਾ ਕਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਚਾਏ ਗਏ ਹੋ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਦਾਤ ਸੀ।
ਅਫ਼ਸੀਆਂ 2:5
ਅਸੀਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਲਤ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਮਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਾਂ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਸੀਹ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਚਾਏ ਗਏ।
ਗਲਾਤੀਆਂ 3:7
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਔਲਾਦ ਹਨ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 5:1
ਨਿਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ, ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 4:11
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਕਰਾਈ ਕਿ ਪਰੇਮਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਇੱਕ ਸਬੂਤ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਧਰਮੀ ਸੀ। ਤਾਂ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ, ਪਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਕਬੂਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
