Psalm 83:11
ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿਉ। ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਓਰੇਬ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਏਬ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜ਼ਬਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਮੁੰਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਓਰੇਬ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਏਬ ਨਾਮੀ ਦੋ ਮਿਦਯਾਨੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ। ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਓਰੇਬ ਨੂੰ ਓਰੇਬ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਨਾਮੀ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਏਬ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਅ ਦੀ ਕੋਲਹੋ ਕਹਿਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮਿਦਯਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਓਰੇਬ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਏਬ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਕੱਟਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਆਏ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਯਰਦਨ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਪਾਰ ਸੀ।

ਮਿਦਯਾਨੀ ਰਾਜੇ, ਜ਼ਬਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਮੁੰਨਾ ਨੱਸ ਗਏ। ਪਰ ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ।
