Psalm 17:14
ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਤੇ ਜਿਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਦ ਰੂਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਭੋਜਨ ਦਿਉ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦਿਉ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਨਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਦਿਉ, ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਬਚ ਜਾਵੇ।

“ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੇਈਮਾਨ ਮੁਖਤਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬੜੀ ਚਲਾਕੀ ਖੇਡੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਂ! ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਲੋਕ ਆਤਮਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਚਲਾਕੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਅੱਯੂਬ 22:18
ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਸਨ। ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੈਂ ਬਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਸ਼ਵਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੱਲ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਬੁਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਕੱੋਲ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 49:17
ਉਹ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਮਰਨਗੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 15:19
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੀ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 17:14
ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਹੋ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਡੇਰਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
ਯਾਕੂਬ 5:5
ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਪਰਲਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਅਮੀਰੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਜਿਉਂਏ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਟਾ ਤਾਜਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਵਾਂਗ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਖਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ “ਸਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਉਸ ਖਜਾਨੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਦੱਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਖੇਤ ਨੂੰ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਸੀ।
ਅੱਯੂਬ 12:6
ਪਰ ਡਾਕੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ, ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕੋ-ਇੱਕ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
