Proverbs 6
16 ਸੱਤ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਛੇਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਰਫ਼ਤ ਕਰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੱਤ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਘ੍ਰਿਣਾਯੋਗ ਹਨ।
17 ਘੁਮੰਡੀ ਅੱਖਾਂ, ਝੂਠੀ ਜੀਭ, ਹੱਥ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੇਕਸੂਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
18 ਦਿਲ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਗੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿਉਂਤਦਾ, ਪੈਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਦੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦੌੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
19 ਇੱਕ ਝੂਠਾ ਗਵਾਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਦੋ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਝਗੜਾ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
