Proverbs 18:17
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਕਰੇ ਸਹੀ ਪੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਸੀਬਾ ਦਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਪਹਾੜ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਤੋਂ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਵੱਧਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਦਾ ਨੌਕਰ ਸੀਬਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਦੋ ਖੋਤੇ ਕੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ 200 ਰੋਟੀਆਂ, 100 ਗੁੱਛਾ ਦਾਖਾਂ ਦਾ, 100 ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਸਮੀ ਫ਼ਲ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਸ਼ਕ ਮੈਅ ਦੀ ਸੀ।

ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਗਿਆ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੀਕ ਜਦ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੜ ਆਇਆ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਧੋਤੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਾਹੜੀ ਸੁਆਰੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਸਤਰ ਧੁਆਏ ਸਨ।

ਇਹ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਖੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
