ਜੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੋਗੇਗੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਖਾਸ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਵੇਂਗੀ। ਤੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਔਲਾਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇਂਗੀ। ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਗਿਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਦਾ ਬੋਲਣਗੇ।’ “ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਔਰਤ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਬੁਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ।

and the Arkite,	הַֽחִוִּ֥י	haḥiwwî	ha-hee-WEE

	הַֽעַרְקִ֖י	haʿarqî	ha-ar-KEE

shall charge	הַכֹּהֵ֥ן	hakkōhēn	ha-koh-HANE
	אֶֽת	ʾet	et

with an oath	בִּשְׁבֻעַ֣ת	bišbuʿat	beesh-voo-AT
cursing, of	הָֽאָלָה֒	hāʾālāh	ha-ah-LA

shall say	הַכֹּהֵן֙	hakkōhēn	ha-koh-HANE
woman, the unto	לָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה	lāʾiššâ	la-ee-SHA
The Lord	יִתֵּ֨ן	yittēn	yee-TANE
make	יְהוָ֥ה	yĕhwâ	yeh-VA
curse a thee	אוֹתָ֛ךְ	ʾôtāk	oh-TAHK
and an oath	לְאָלָ֥ה	lĕʾālâ	leh-ah-LA
among	וְלִשְׁבֻעָ֖ה	wĕlišbuʿâ	veh-leesh-voo-AH
