ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਧੂਫ਼ ਧੁਖਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਸੀ। ਹੋਰ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਧੂਫ਼ ਧੁਖਾਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਕੋਰਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
