ਇਹੀ ਉਹ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਓਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੈਲ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
