ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਾਲਾਕ ਨੇ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਥਾਂ ਆ। ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਰਾਪ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇ।”
