ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹਾਰਮਾਹ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
