“ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ; ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਚਨਚੇਤੀ ਪਾਪ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਕਰ ਬੈਠਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਮਨਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ:
ਅਹਬਾਰ 4:13
“ਜੇਕਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਕੌਮ ਅਨਜਾਣੇ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਾਪ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਉਹ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਅਨਜਾਣ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 4:22
“ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਹਾਕਮ ਅਨਜਾਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਹ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 4:27
“ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਧਾਰਣ ਆਦਮੀ ਅਚਨਚੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਉਹ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 5:13
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਜਕ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਚ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਜਾਜਕ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।”
ਅਹਬਾਰ 5:15
“ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਚਨਚੇਤ ਕੋਈ ਗਲਤ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਬੈਠੇ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾ ਨੁਕਸ ਵਾਲਾ ਭੇਡੂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨਾਪ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡੂ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿੰਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 19:12
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗਲਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਵੇਂ ਪਾਪ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇਵੋ।

ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਨੌਕਰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਿਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”
