ਗਿਣਤੀ 14:1-25

1 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.

2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!

3 And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:

7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.

8 If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.

10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.

11 And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

12 I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.

13 And Moses said unto the Lord, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)

14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou Lord art among this people, that thou Lord art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

15 Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,

16 Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.

17 And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,

18 The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

19 Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

20 And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word:

21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.

22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

23 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

25 (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) To morrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.

1 ਲੋਕ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਸ ਰਾਤ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉੱਚੀ-ਉੱਚੀ ਚੀਕਣ ਲੱਗੇ।
And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.

2 ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੋਲਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਇਸ ਨਵੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋਣੀ ਸੀ।
And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!

3 ਕੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨਵੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਸੀ? ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਹ ਲਵੇਗਾ। ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਣਾ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

4 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਉ ਆਪਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਆਗੂ ਚੁਣੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਈਏ।”
And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

5 ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੁਕ ਗਏ।
Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

6 ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾੜ ਲਈ। (ਨੂਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਫ਼ੁੰਨਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ-ਪੜਤਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।)
And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:

7 ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਏ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਿਹੜੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੇਖੀ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੈ।
And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.

8 ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਵਿਦਰੋਹ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ!”
If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.

10 ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕੀ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਉਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਉੱਪਰ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਸਨ।
But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.

11 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ? ਉਹ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਕਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਭੈ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਦਿਖਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

12 ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਕੌਮ ਉਸਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੌਮ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।”

13 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇ ਤੂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਮਿਸਰੀ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ।
And Moses said unto the Lord, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)

14 ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਬੱਦਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬੱਦਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਬੱਦਲ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅੱਗ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

15 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਆਖਣਗੇ,

16 ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਿਆ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਇਆ।’
Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.

17 “ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਮਾਲਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਰਸਾ! ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਰਸਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ!
And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,

18 ਤੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਂੜਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਗੁਨਾਹਗਾਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੋਤਿਆਂ-ਪੜਪੋਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ!’

19 ਹੁਣ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਾਰਣ, ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡਣ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।”
Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

20 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਹਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word:

21 ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਭਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.

22 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕਦੇ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦੇਖੇ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਏ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਦੂਲੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ 10 ਵਾਰੀ ਪਰੱਖਿਆ।
Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

23 ਉਹ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

24 ਪਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਦੇਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਗੇ।
But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

25 ਉਸ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਥਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਲਾਲ ਸਾਗਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵੱਲ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਜਾ।”
(Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) To morrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
