ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਭਾਗਾ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਨ।
