“ਰਾਮਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਰੋਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਲ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤਸੱਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।”

ਰਊਬੇਨ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੁੰਡਾ ਤਾਂ ਖੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ! ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਾਂ?”
