Matthew 18:6
ਯਿਸੂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ “ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਛੋਟਿਆਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਾਪ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਕੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੜ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੋਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ “ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਛੋਟਿਆਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਾਪ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾੜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਕੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੜ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਦ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਹੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਉ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਪਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵੱਧਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕੇ।

ਲੋਕਾ 17:1
ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਨਾ ਬਣੋ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਫ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹੋ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਕੀਨੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਾਪ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਣਨਗੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਈ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਮੱਤੀ 18:14
ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਗੁਆਚ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਯਾਹ 13:7
ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਹੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ! ਮੇਰੇ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਤੇ ਵਾਰ ਕਰ। ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇ ਵਾਰ ਕਰ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਆਜੜੀ ਤੇ ਵਾਰ ਕਰ ਤਾਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਮੈਂ ਛੋਟਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਠਾਵਾਂਗਾ।

ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਣਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਅੱਖ ਦੀ ਕਾਕੀ ’ਚ ਚੁਭਣ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ।
