ਯਾਕੂਬ 4:8

ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 2:6
ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੇ ਛੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਜਲ ਦੇ ਮੱਟ ਸਨ। ਯਹੂਦੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਲ ਮੱਟ ਸ਼ੁੱਧੀਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੀਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਸਨ। ਹਰੇਕ ਜਲ ਮਟ ਵਿੱਚ 80 ਲੀਟਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ 120 ਲੀਟਰ ਤੱਕ ਜਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਰ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਧੋਤੇ ਸਨ।

੧ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 1:7
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਾਂਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗਤ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਖੂਨ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਪਾਪ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 3:25
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹਿਸ ਕੀਤੀ।
