ਲੋਕਾ 24:17
ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤੁਰ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਕੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ?” ਉਹ ਦੋਨੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਖਲੋ ਗਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਬੜੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 16:6
ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲੇਗੀ।
