Luke 9:45
ਪਰ ਚੇਲੇ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸਮਝ ਸੱਕੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੀ ਆਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਅਰਥ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਨਾ ਸੱਕੇ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਤੋਂ ਘਬਰਾਉਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸਮਝ ਸੱਕੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਭਰਿਆ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਲੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੇ ਸੀ। ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਵੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਕਰਾਰ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹੀ ਪਰਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਰੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਹਟਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਤਕਰਾਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਹੈ?

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਰੱਖੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ “ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣ” ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ?

ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ। ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਭੇਦ ਨਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਤਦ ਪਤਰਸ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਲੈਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਕਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਣ ਲੱਗਾ।

ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਉਸਨੇ ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।”

ਤਦ ਪਤਰਸ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਲਿਜਾਕੇ ਝਿੜਕਣ ਲੱਗਾ, “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵੇ। ਇਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਵਾਪਰੇ!”
