ਪਹਿਲਾ ਨੋਕਰ ਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਮਾਲਕ! ਜੋ ਧਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਗਏ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਦਸ ਗੁਣਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।’

ਪਰ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਹਾਂ ਸੋ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਾਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਈ। ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸਾਂ। ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਲੜਿਆ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਦੌੜ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇਹ ਆਖੇ, “ਤੂੰ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।” ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਦਿਖਾ। ਤੇਰੀ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਦਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਸੀਹ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਹਜੂਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਨਮਿਤ ਆਤਮਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ।
