ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਉਸਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਨਾ ਦੇ ਸੱਕੇ, ਜੋ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵੈਰੀ ਇਹ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਸੱਕੇ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਗਲਤ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋ ਸੱਕੇ।

ਪਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਇਸਤੀਫ਼ਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਇੰਨੀ ਸਿਆਣੀ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਉਸ ਅੱਗੇ ਠਹਿਰ ਨਾ ਸੱਕਿਆ।
