Leviticus 6:5
ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਝੂਠੀ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਧੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਦਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਵੱਧ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪੈਸਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਸਲੀ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਇਵਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਰਕਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਵਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੋਰ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਕਮ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬੁਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

“ਸੋ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੇਂਟ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਆਵੇ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਹੈ।

“ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ-ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰੋ। ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੋਢਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰ ਲਾਹ ਦਿਓ।
ਅਮਸਾਲ 6:30
ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਢਿੱਡ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰੇ, ਲੋਕੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਗੁਣਾ ਵੱਧ ਜ਼ੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਭਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚਲਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਗਵਾਉਣਾ ਪਵੇ!
੧ ਸਮੋਈਲ 12:3
ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹਾਂ। ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਗਲਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਗਊ ਚੁਰਾਈ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਖੋਤਾ ਚੁਰਾਇਆ? ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਚੁਰਾਇਆ? ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਣੇ ਦੀ ਵੱਢੀ ਲਿੱਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਦੇਖਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂ। ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਨੀ-ਪੂਰਤੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।”
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 22:9
“ਜੇ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਬਲਦ ਜਾਂ ਖੋਤੇ ਜਾਂ ਭੇਡ ਜਾਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੁਆਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਚੀਜ਼ ਬਾਰੇ ਝਗੜਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਖੇ, ‘ਇਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ’, ਅਤੇ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਆਖੇ, ‘ਨਹੀਂ, ਇਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ’, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਗਣਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 22:7
“ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਪੈਸੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਖੇ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਪੈਸੇ ਜਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਉਸ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਚੋਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ? ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਵੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਗਣਾ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 22:1
“ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਬਲਦ ਜਾਂ ਭੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਰਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ? ਜੇ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਬਲਦ ਬਦਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਬਲਦ ਦੇਣੇ ਪੈਣਗੇ। ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਇੱਕ ਭੇਡ ਬਦਲੇ ਚਾਰ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇਣੀਆਂ ਪੈਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਇਵਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
