“ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਚਨਚੇਤ ਕੋਈ ਗਲਤ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਬੈਠੇ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾ ਨੁਕਸ ਵਾਲਾ ਭੇਡੂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨਾਪ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡੂ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿੰਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਨੁਕਸ ਭੇਡੂ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਨੇ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਲ ਦਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਆਖੇ। ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 27:14
ਮਕਾਨ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ “ਹੁਣ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਿ ਮਕਾਨ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਮਾੜਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਮਕਾਨ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਯਹੋਆਸ਼ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਲਈ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਯਹੋਆਸ਼ ਨੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਲਈ ਟੈਕਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਧੰਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਜਾਜਕ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਧੰਨ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਕਰਵਾ ਲੈਣ। ਹਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਉਸ ਪੈਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਉਣ। ਜਾਜਕਾਂ, ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪੈਸਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।”
