Leviticus 19:19
“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇਮ ਮਂਨਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਵੱਖ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਂਜੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੀਜਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ।

ਮੱਤੀ 9:16
“ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਵੇਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦੀ ਟਾਕੀ ਪਾਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ, ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਟਾਕੀ ਸੁੰਗੜ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਟ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਛੇਕ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਖਰਾਬ ਦਿਸੇਗਾ।
ਗਲਾਤੀਆਂ 3:9
ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਉੱਪਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਇਹੋ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ, ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

ਗੈਰ ਮਸੀਹੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਜੁੜੋ। ਚੰਗਿਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਚਾਨਣ ਅਤੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ।

ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੱਕਰ ਗਿਆ। ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਬਚਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੋਤੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਖੋਤਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਬੋਹੜ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਹੇਠੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਿਆ। ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੰਘਣੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੜ ਗਿਆ। ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦਾ ਖੋਤਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੁੱਖ ਤੇ ਲਟਕਦਿਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੇਠੋਁ ਨਿਕਲ ਗਿਆ।

ਇਉਂ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਨ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਮਨੋਨ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਪਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਭੱਜ ਗਏ। ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਖੱਚਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਭੱਜ ਗਏ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 11:6
