“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕੌਮ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੀ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹਨ।

ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂ। ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਭਰ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸਾਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਾਂਗਾ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਥੋੜਾ-ਥੋੜਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢਾਂਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 7:24
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਵੋਂਗੇ!
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 1:8
ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਦਿਨ-ਰਾਤ ਕਰਨਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਯਕੀਨ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇਂਗਾ।

ਕਾਲੇਬ ਨੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਅਨਾਕੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ, ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਨ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ੈ, ਅਹੀਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਮੈ। ਉਹ ਅਨੋਕ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 21:43
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸ ਗਏ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 23:5
ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
