ਉਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਭੁਗਤਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਬਿਧੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ। ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ “ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਰਊਬੇਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਦ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਨੋਨ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਅਰੋਏਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ, ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ, ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਅੱਧਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 4:47
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਹੋਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਓਗ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਲਈ। ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 18:1
ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਰਾ ਦੇਣਾ “ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਿਰਬਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਕਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ।
