ਬਆਲਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਕੇ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪੱਛਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਸੇਈਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵੱਲ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਸਰਹੱਦ ਯਾਰੀਮ ਪਰਬਤ (ਕਸਾਲੋਨ) ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਪਾਸੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਬੈਤ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ ਤੱਕ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉੱਥੋਂ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਤਿਮਨਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

ਬਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ, ਸ਼ੂਆ ਦੀ ਧੀ, ਮਰ ਗਈ। ਸੋਗ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਉਸ ਅਦੂਲਾਮੀ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹੀਰਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਤਿਮਨਾਥ ਕੋਲ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤਿਮਨਾਥ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਉੱਨ ਲਾਹੁਣ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
