ਗਜ਼ਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੋਰਾਮ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ ਪਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ।

ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਦੋਨੀ ਸਦਕ ਨੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਹੋਹਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰਮੂਥ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਾਮ, ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਾਫ਼ੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਬੀਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ,

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਪੰਜਾ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਆਏ। ਉਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਹਬਰੋਨ, ਯਰਮੂਥ, ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਨ।
