ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਕਾਦੇਸ਼ ਬਰਨੇਆ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੱਜ਼ਾਹ ਤੀਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ) ਗੋਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਿਬਓਨ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 12:8
ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼, ਪੱਛਮੀ ਤਰਾਈ, ਯਰਦਨ ਵਾਦੀ, ਪੂਰਬੀ ਪਰਬਤ, ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਗੇਵ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਸੀ। ਇਹੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ, ਹਿੱਤੀ ਲੋਕ, ਅਮੋਰੀ ਲੋਕ, ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕ, ਫ਼ਰਿੱਜ਼ੀ ਲੋਕ, ਹਿੱਵੀ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਬੂਸੀ ਲੋਕ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਰਾਏ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ:

ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਆਖ!

ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉੱਚੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੀਜਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਟਾਹਣੀ ਵੱਧਕੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸਦੀਆਂ ਟਾਹਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਗਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ ਫ਼ਲ। ਇਹ ਦਿਆਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਰੁੱਖ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਾਹਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪੰਛੀ ਬੈਠਣਗੇ। ਬਹੁਤ ਪੰਛੀ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਾਹਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 11:2
ਅਤੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਿਆ।ਯਾਬੀਨ ਨੇ ਪਛਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਫੋਥ ਦੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਯਬੀਨ ਨੇ ਕਿੰਨਰੋਥ, ਨੇਗੇਵ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਤਰਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਿਆ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 9:1
ਗਿਬਓਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਕੀ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਰਾਜੇ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਅਮੋਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਫ਼ਰਿੱਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਹਿੱਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਬੂਸੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਦਾਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਭੂਮੱਧ ਸਾਗਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਤੱਕ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 34:2
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ, ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਿਖਾਈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਮੱਧ ਸਾਗਰ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਿਖਾਈ।

“ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ: ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਵੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 15:18
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚਲੀ ਨੀਲ ਨਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਨਦੀ ਤਾਈਂ ਫੈਲੇਗੀ।
