ਯਸਈਆਹ 38:19
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ ਓਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਇੱਕ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

“ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਉਹ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਇਸ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੈ?’ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਸਾਂ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 10:1
ਟਿੱਡੀ ਦਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਹ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਦਿਖਾ ਸੱਕਾਂ।
