“ਕਿਉਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਜਾਵੇ? ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਦੇਵੋਁ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੁੱਖ੍ਖੀ ਹੈ?

ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਬੱਚਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਾਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਜਨਮ ਵੇਲੇ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਦਫਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ? ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਬੱਚੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ।
